I had no idea there was a (expired) discord invite www
OH MY GOD it try’s to do uh the async call via promise? Or the other way around yeah it’s trying to collapse the #q (Minecraft Version: 1.7.10 (probably modded) Players: 0/20 MOTD: You will be entered into an entire new world of excitement ) promise into an async call lmao >>24888 it’s still in the github under inabun’s account >>24886 I think that’s because it was a user link, only inabun could create a permanent one w
>>24917 The one talking about megu/pol/... If you're curious, I found this place through sushi and fufufu. Not interested in bothering you guys though.

I will probably never come back here, but is the source code of this site available somewhere. Arbitrary last N mode is something I'd like to implement on my own meguca fork.
By the way, I've never heard of someone called kumo being part of megu/pol/. Original board owner was a guy who went by dresden. It would be amusing if that was one of the /meadhall/ guys .

That is the one who decided they were trans. It's all ancient history now anyway. It's nice to see another idiosyncratic meguca fork alive somewhere, I hope I'm not being disruptive.

>>24919 I don't remember off the top of my head what bun's github that has it is wwwww and they broke search on purpose for no reason >>24925 If you know the link for magic you can probably find it by text searching that, I think the only difference between it and the mainline final node version of meguca is the catalog fix and a few other bugs. >>24921 Pretty sure a certain person still lurks through tor would require literally any work on my part... any time I get the idea to fix things I just want to completely rewrite it wwwwww >>24926 wwwwww it was written in Go for a while there what a catastrophe No the mainline one was, this is still just the old JS one, only difference is the post DB is served over 9p internally from a 9front server w Yeah, but there's a few fixes ahoger made directly into it, and I've hacked in a few things... >>24927 wwwwwwwww not sure about hipster, I'm just old
>>24924 I'll try looking again. Thanks anyway and good night. >the mainline final node version of meguca is the catalog fix and a few other bugs Could be useful, but I've been working for a few months on mine and made a decent amount of changes.
>>24924 >any time I get the idea to fix things I just want to completely rewrite it wwwwww www I understand the feeling. I got rid of node for esbuild a few months ago and I've got a rewrite of the router and websockets code planned if webtransport ever gets a stable RFC. I respect lat a lot for the work he did, but him chasing trends left a lot of small issues int the code. >it was written in Go for a while Did you replace the backend on your fork?
>>24924 >this is still just the old JS one You mean the super old one that was just a doushio fork that I've seen in the git history? >plan 9 Very cool, pretty sure you've out-hipstered lat with that.
>>24924 not sure about hipster, I'm just old Trend chasing but in a cool way? I don't know but you probably knew lat better than me. He was always doing something different or in a new language to make meguca unique. Kind of funny that even lat couldn't handle rust. Or maybe it was just meguca. Good night anyway >>24929 Lat abandoned the rust rewrite about halfway through. shamiko runs the v6 Go branch with a few fixes by a guy called zkm. The frontend is still nodejs. It's hard to actually build it these days because of outdated FFMPEG api calls, if you're ever curious then meowmin's thumbnailer fork fixes that. Maybe zkm will make his fork buildable without private patches one day. Mine's probably going to end up on gnu savannah since I'm freetarded and github is awful now.
isn't it Rust now? wwwwwwwwwwww It's been the trend for a while. >>24928 wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww of course he did, it's a quite dire language maybe someone will get a wild hair up their ass and try Zig, it's the new hotness!
You could always host your own git. >>>/git/tsughub Wait it's >>>/git/tsughub/tsughub/HEAD/info.html nope, wow that crosslink thing does not fucking work wow I haven't updated anything on there to most current wwwww not great at workflow
>>24929 I've heard that self hosting git makes DDOS mitigation more difficult and I don't really want to manage more services. I'm planning to host a radio and maybe a revolt server soonish too.
